Through the efforts of our Comanche Language and Cultural Preservation Committee and the Comanche Nation Language Planning Group, the Comanche Tribal Council approved the creation of a new language department on the budget last year. The department was slated to begin in October 2018 and we are now on the road to the revitalization and reclamation of the Comanche language.

Chairman William Nelson Sr., and Vice Chairman, Lanora Parker, took the Oath of Office and were Sworn in the morning of January 19, 2019 at the Comanche Nation Complex. The conference room was full of family, friends, and tribal members. The ceremony included the Comanche Business Committee and those in attendance being cedared by members of the Comanche Native American Church. EARLY/IN-HOUSE VOTING:
Eligible Voters may cast a Ballot by Early/In-house Voting on Friday January 11th, 2019 at the Comanche Nation Elder’s Center located at 1107 SW “H” Ave., Lawton, OK or at the Comanche Nation Complex New Conference Room, 584 NW Bingo Road, Lawton, OK. Polling hours for Early/In-house Voting are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
VOTING ON ELECTION DAY:
Voters may cast their ballots on Election Day, January 12, 2019 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the polling site of their choice listed below:
