Chairman William Nelson Sr., and Vice Chairman, Lanora Parker, took the Oath of Office and were Sworn in the morning of January 19, 2019 at the Comanche Nation Complex. The conference room was full of family, friends, and tribal members. The ceremony included the Comanche Business Committee and those in attendance being cedared by members of the Comanche Native American Church. Saturday, January 12th, 2019 

EARLY/IN-HOUSE VOTING: 

Eligible Voters may cast a Ballot by Early/In-house Voting on Friday January 11th, 2019 at the Comanche Nation Elder’s Center located at 1107 SW “H” Ave., Lawton, OK or at the Comanche Nation Complex New Conference Room, 584 NW Bingo Road, Lawton, OK. Polling hours for Early/In-house Voting are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

VOTING ON ELECTION DAY: 

Voters may cast their ballots on Election Day, January 12, 2019 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the polling site of their choice listed below:

On Tuesday June 5, 2018, an acting quorum of the Comanche Nation Business Committee (CBC) pursuant to Article V, Section 1, and Article VI, Section 4 and 7 (b), certified all the Election results, except for the Chairman position because of the passage and certification of the educational requirements approved in the same Election. As a result of the outcome on the Ballot question relating to the educational requirement, the CBC was precluded from certifying the Chairman's race. Based on the previous court action taken in the same Election, Nelson v.
