ATTENTION COMANCHE TRIBAL MEMBERS
Saturday, May 1, 2021
At today’s CBC Monthly Meeting, during executive session, the Comanche Business Committee heard the statements made by (3) tribal members nominated for Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Tribal Administrator who did not qualify as candidates in the 2021 Comanche Nation Election. Each tribal member was heard in their discretion.
After careful review of the information, the candidates did not meet the requirements required by the Comanche Nation Constitution Article V, Section 8 and Article IX, Section 2.
The original decision of disqualification is reaffirmed.

With so much continued positive feedback from the SYEP Surveys, Workforce finally decided to seek approval for the relaunch and initiation of the Summer Youth Employment Program. Workforce can now officially say: the request was approved by our Tribal Administration - we will have a SYEP 2021!!!!! My staff and I are very excited because this is almost everyone's first SYEP experience within the department. We will work our hardest to make it happen and to make it happen succesfully!
