Youth Employment Program Replaces SYEP

Greetings again! Long time, no see! The Comanche Nation Workforce Department is pleased to announce that the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) will be getting revamped and replaced with a new program service provided to all Comanche Nation Tribal Youth Members. A decision has been made to now change the summer only program, to a year-round program where we can start putting Comanche Nation tribal youth to work the entire year!! What's this mean, exactly? It means that we will not only host a summer program but we will host a year-round program as well AFTER the SYEP has ended for the summer. More youth related services will be offered too!! However, please keep in mind, the current Workforce CNG Guidelines will apply and more regulations will follow that might make things more trickier for a year-round program. The end result: more employability training and possible employment for our tribal youth!!
