With so much continued positive feedback from the SYEP Surveys, Workforce finally decided to seek approval for the relaunch and initiation of the Summer Youth Employment Program. Workforce can now officially say: the request was approved by our Tribal Administration - we will have a SYEP 2021!!!!! My staff and I are very excited because this is almost everyone's first SYEP experience within the department. We will work our hardest to make it happen and to make it happen succesfully! Of course, with what is currently going on in this world regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic, we will still take safety precautions and follow established policy and procedures relating to COVID-19, through Tribal Administration guidelines. SYEP Applications will be available in-person and online Monday, April 19th, 2021. Remember, check our Workforce Facebook page for more information and current updates regarding events that we plan on doing for the future. I hope the tribal youth are ready to gain work experience in a whole different way!!
