With pride and dedication, the Comanche Nation Fire Department is committed to providing the highest quality service to our community through the preservation of life, protection of property, and the environment.

About Us

The Comanche Nation Fire Department is a non-profit, full-time Fire and EMS Department in Lawton, Oklahoma. The Department became an EMR agency in 2023 and has been more active with our Tribal Law Enforcement and Volunteer Fire Departments since then. Our department consists of 4 authorized members covering nine counties. We have 3 Brush Trucks, 3 Response Vehicles, 1 Engine, and 2 UTVS.

The Comanche Nation Fire Department is happy to help whenever you need it.

Services

Comanche Nation CHR/EMS facilitates the health needs of tribal members by providing:

  • Medical transportation to and from routine doctor appointments
  • Home health visits (if requested by patient)
  • On-call service for emergencies
  • Medical standby assistance for powwows or special events
  • Manual blood pressure and glucose trainings
  • American Heart CPR, First Aid, and AED classes
  • Fire extinguisher trainings
  • Rabies vaccinations clinics
  • Assistance to local volunteer Fire Departments and ambulance services
  • Search and rescue missions
