Community Gathers for Prevention and Recovery's New Year's Eve Bash

Comanche Nation Prevention and Recovery held its annual New Year’s Eve Bash on Tuesday, December 31, at the Great Plains Coliseum in Lawton, Oklahoma.

According to Prevention and Recovery Director Don Ramos, the event promotes a fun, safe and drug-free environment for the community.

He said about 700 to 800 people attended the event this year.

Ramos wanted to thank his staff who helped put on the event.

“They’ve done a wonderful job this year,” he said. “I’m truly amazed by the staff, but Comanche Nation Prevention and Recovery has done putting this together tonight. They make it a whole lot easier.”

The event included a snack bar, cotton candy, a DJ, a balloon maker and a photo booth.
