On Friday, February 21, Comanche Cache Casino held its grand opening event.
The day began with the Lord’s Prayer performed by Comanche Nation Princess Bluesky Tosee and Jr. Princess Arlene Schonchin. There was also a dance demonstration.
Comanche Nation Elderly Center held a Valentine’s Day party and crowned King and Queen Valentine. It was a penny-a-vote to raise funds.
Siblings David Wermy and Janis Wermy were crowned on Friday, February 14.
Janis was surprised.
“Comanche Academy: A Healing Journey” documentary by Kathryn Boyd-Batstone will premiere at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, February 14, at Great Plains Coliseum in Lawton, Oklahoma.
