Senior Spotlight: Robert Toquothty
Senior Robert Toquothty plays running back for the Temple Tigers High School football team and sports number 8.
He also plays track, baseball and basketball. He’s also on the academic team.
Toquothty said his greatest accomplishment was being recently saved by Christ.
He said being saved was a rush and waited for the right moment.
“It's more, say, pure. You think about what you're doing more,” Toquothty said.
He said when it comes to graduating, he will miss football.
“I've loved it, not until recently,” Toquothty said.
He began playing in his first year of high school and said watching it more really brought the love.
“I grew up in baseball, but I'm starting to love this,” Toquothty said.
As for future plans…
“I really haven't decided yet. I'm still thinking about it,” he said.
When it comes to Toquothty’s heritage, keeping in touch involves going to events such as Walters Homecoming.
“Watching them dance, it was really fun. I really wanted to do it, but I never knew how,” he said.
In his free time, Toquothty hangs out around town and spends time with his girlfriend.
“I feel whole. I feel like me,” he said.
