Red River Casino Welcomes New General Manager

In October 2024, Sterling Ticeahkie began his role as general manager at Red River Casino in Devol, Oklahoma. 

As someone who has worked at Red River for over a decade, he said he enjoys coming to work. 

“I love the people I work with. I look forward to coming to work every day,” Ticeahkie said. “Most of them I have been here with for the last 16 years. I greet them every morning, tell them good morning. I give them opportunity to present any issues or concerns. I think it opens windows and doors to growth, not just externally but internally as well. We have a lot of good employees here. They're the reason I want to move forward.”

He said some of the changes will include growth, including a Comanche Burger.

“I'm looking forward to the growth of this place,” Ticeahkie said. “We have some stuff in the process that's going to wow people. We're also looking to adjust promotions. We do have a new competitor down the street.So, now there's two of them and we plan on adjusting promotions to make it like they're not even here.”

He said some old promotions will need revamping.

“We're interested in not just finding new customers but finding the old ones, too,” Ticeahkie said. “The ones that may have went away, we're trying to find a way to bring them back.”

According to Ticeahkie, the machine mix on the floor rivals the ones found at other casinos and are adjusting the floor every day.
