Introduction
The Comanche Nation invites proposals for interested parties to contract with the Nation to be an RN Consultant for the Edith Kassanavoid Gordon Assisted Living Center for the Comanche Nation.
Scope of Work to be Performed
The Contractor will be responsible for the supervision of skilled nursing interventions, documenting the resident’s physicians of choice, documenting the resident’s living will or “Do Not Resuscitate Order”, coordinating and signing each resident’s assessments. The Contractor will also be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring each resident’s care plan in coordination with the Center’s Director of Nursing and staff, reviewing each resident’s medications monthly. The Contractor is required to attend the Center’s quarterly Quality Assurance meeting, and present required documentation of the Center’s Infection Control trends, Incident reports and State reportables. The Contractor is responsible for coordinating and attending monthly in-service with nursing staff, will coordinate with the Director of Nursing to ensure continuity of care for residents who utilize Outside Care Agencies.
Requirements
The Contractor must posses a current RN license valid in the state of Oklahoma. The Contractor must have CPR/First Aide certification, prior experience in long term care is preferred. The contractor must have a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and insurable. They must also pass a pre-employment drug screening and random screening during contract. Must pass OSDH background check.

General Conditions
The Comanche Nation reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received in response to this request, to negotiate with any qualified party, or to cancel in whole or part of this RFP if it is in the best interest of the Comanche Nation. In the event none of the proposals are satisfactory to the Comanche Nation, no selection will be made.
Evaluation
The Comanche Nation will review the qualification and bids of the nominees. In making a selection, the Comanche Nation shall give preference to qualified candidates who:
- Have adequate experience as an RN Consultant.
- Can provide all documents needed and pass background check

Instructions for Submission of Proposals
