The Comanche Homebuyer Assistance Program is funded by the American Rescue Plan (ARP) and is authorized by Comanche Business Committee (CBC) Resolution: 74-2021 - Rebuild, Recover, Stronger Together. The Comanche Homebuyers Assistance program was created by the Comanche Nation using American Rescue Plan (ARP) funding. The program is an equity building grant through down payment and closing cost assistance to qualifying Comanche Tribal members across the nation who have been disproportionately affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The goal of this program is to provide tribal members with long term recovery through homeownership. This grant does not require repayment. Award payment will go directly to the closing company, bank, or financial institution associated with the mortgage loan.
