Direct Employment

The Comanche Nation Direct Employment Program is designed to provide assistance to enrolled tribal members who seek and obtain full-time / permanent employment. The client cannot have received a first paycheck or been approved within the past three years. The DE Program will assist the head of household with subsistence for career employment.

Job Placement (JPT) Program

The Adult Vocational Training Program is designed to assist eligible tribal members attending long-term/full-time training in programs offered by state vocational schools approved by the tribal/federal contract. The AVT Program offers financial assistance & vocational counseling for a school period of at lease nine (9) months, not to exceed twenty-four (24) months.

College Scholarship Program

The Comanche Nation Scholarship Program provides grants to Comanche students who are attending post secondary institutions/colleges/universities and who are pursuing a Bachelors / Masters / Doctorate Degree or are in a two year program which will transfer to a four year program. In order to qualify for the award, a student must be an enrolled member of the Comanche Nation; be a high school graduate or possess a GED Certificate; be approved for admissions by the college; be in need of financial aid; and give reasonable assurance they will be successful in completing a four year college degree program.

Fall Semester ~ June 1st
Spring Semester ~ October 1st
Summer Semester ~ April 1st
