The Comanche Nation Student Services K-12 Program is to help meet the basic school needs of enrolled Comanche Tribal that range from Kindergarten thru 12th grade.  Parent/guardian must submit a new application every school year.  Failure to provide supporting documents, as well as CDIB’s will result in application being evaded.  Student Services K-12 Program will begin taking applications for each new school year the third Monday of July.  Deadline for each is the last Friday of August.  All applications for the new school year must be submitted by the deadline to ensure applicant is services.  The following must be submitted:


• CDIB (letter or card).
• Letter from the child’s school stating child’s grade and attendance (will accept after student enrolls for the new school year).
• Final / Current report card.
• Legal documents stating custody / guardianship of student.

Students in grades K-12 will receive a shopping card; to be used for the purchase of clothing and/or school supplies onlyReceipts must be returned to Comanche Nation Student Services K-12 ProgramFailure to comply will result in ineligibility of program for one program year.  Staff of K-12 Program will review receipts to make sure clientele are following the guidelines.  Deadline for receipt return is thirty (30) days after card has been received.


High school seniors will receive assistance towards the purchase of cap/gown OR announcements OR senior portraits.  If a deposit is required, it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to make this payment.  All payments for senior orders are made to the vendor (i.e., portrait studio, etc.).  Student Services K-12 Program will not provide reimbursements on senior orders to parents/guardiansThe deadline for senior orders is March 15th of each year.


The Supplementary Fund is available to high school students for ACT/SAT’s; Summer School and Night School.  Each student must submit information from the school counselor, such as registration or schedules, as well as expense of the service.


All services are available once per fiscal year.  Student Services does not assist with the following: Senior rings; Prom; Cheerleading; Sports; Camps; Head Start; Pre-K; GED and Job Corps; Conferences; Tutoring or outside educational aid (Sylvan Learning Centers, home school curriculum, etc.).
