About Us

The Comanche Nation Angels started November 1, 2013, by the Late Keith Yackeyonny, WIA Director, to assist the elders, handicapped, and the terminally ill tribal members with house cleaning to help keep them safe and healthy.

The Angels clean three rooms in the tribal member's house once a week; some tribal members have other family members living in their homes. The Angels are required to clean the kitchen, living room, and the bathroom the client uses. The Angels are not Caregiver or Respite Care, and the guidelines for qualification is to live in Comanche County, be an elder, handicapped, or have a terminal illness that requires assistance with house cleaning. Handicapped tribal members under 62 years of age are eligible for the service and there is not an age limit for the terminal ill members.
